Arenus Welcomes Three New Team Members

ST. LOUIS, Missouri – March 21, 2008 – Arenus, dedicated to improving the health, performance, and longevity of horses and dogs, is pleased to announce three talented individuals have recently joined the team.

“We are very fortunate to have these additions to our staff,” says Jeremy Moore, Marketing Manager. “Their knowledge, experience and passion for the equine nutrition industry exemplify Arenus’ commitment to research, relationships and results.”

Dr. Kenneth J. Kopp, DVM, Technical Service Veterinarian

Dr. Kopp has many years of experience in the equine nutrition industry. His first experience in the horse industry was working as a stable hand at the Anheuser Busch Clydesdale Breeding Farm. He went on to complete his veterinary education at the University of Missouri and post graduate work at the University of Georgia. Other experience includes; Resident Veterinarian and Director of Farm Operations for a large Quarter Horse farm in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia, Manager of Equine Nutrition for Southern States Cooperative in Richmond, Virginia, and his own equine nutrition consulting company, where he presented hundreds of educational seminars and authored many equine nutrition-related articles.

Dr. Kopp sees a great future for Arenus in leveraging the science and knowledge base of its parent company, Novus International. “Novus is a global leader in food animal nutrition because of its long commitment to high quality research,“ says Dr. Kopp. “The application of this well spring of knowledge into equine and companion animals will be a tremendous benefit to horses and pets.”

Throughout her equine career, she has had the pleasure of showing under, training and working with numerous top-level trainers and horses from all over the world. Her passion for the horse’s well-being fuels her desire to make a difference in the lives of horses that will leave the type of lasting effect they have earned and deserve from us.

Brady Karren, Marketing Specialist, Western U.S.

Brady has spent a lifetime working with horses in one aspect or another. He grew up showing reining, cutting, and working cow horses as well as roping and starting colts in the mountains of Utah.

He continued at Brigham Young University (BYU), receiving a Bachelors Degree in Animal Science and a minor in Business Management.
