2007 Atlanta Summer Classic Update

The closing date for the Atlanta Summer Classic is June 6th. Jeff Connor our tent man, is heading towards Atlanta this Sunday to start setting up. Please let us know your stall and camper reservations. 843.768.5503
Week One of Atlanta will host the $25,000 Hunter Classic sponsored by AME and will be held on Friday night. The class will be held in conjunction with the first Summer Classic Tailgate Party. There will be awards in several categories for the “best” tailgates. The best place to watch the Hunter Classic is from the top of the Grand Prix ring and a great place to have a party with your friends. I will send you the categories and awards soon.
Week Two will host the $25,000 Horses Helping Horses Grand Prix sponsored by Outback Steakhouse. Tickets will be available at the show for the great Outback dinner. There will also be more information about the silent auction to follow.
Week Two on Thursday Night there will be a “Just Ask” clinic with Don Stewart, Bibi Farmer and Bill Schaub. Katie Young will be your host
There are a couple of updates to the prize list. The Annual Atlanta Summer Trainers Medal will be held on Friday of week II. The class is a 3’3” class and will be held in conjunction with an exhibitors party. The prize list says the class is week one. There is also a Children’s and an Adult Jumper Classic both weeks.
I wanted also to add that Brook Ledge Transportation has joined the Classic Company as the official carrier this year and you will see their new jump in the jumper ring.
