Blue Ridge Sunset Wins Championship for SBS Farms at Jacksonville National Horse Show

Green Cove Springs, FL - January 12, 2009 - SBS Farms started the 2009 show year off right with a championship at the Jacksonville National I Horse Show on January 7-11, 2009. SBS Farms is led by trainer Susie Schoellkopf and rider/trainer Jennifer Alfano. SBS Farms is based at the Buffalo Therapeutic Riding Center in Buffalo, NY.
Leading the way in the ribbons this week was Blue Ridge Sunset. The talented chestnut pony won the Large Pony Handy Hunter class and placed well in the over fences and under saddle classes. Blue Ridge Sunset was ridden to the win by Taylor Ann Adams and is owned by Harper Hills LLC and Sara Rimmler. They were trained by Shane Powell of SBS Farms and Bibby Farmer Hill.
Those top ribbons in the Large Pony Hunters gave Blue Ridge Sunset the championship in the division. Blue Ridge Sunset and Adams also won the Pony Hunter Classic.
Schoellkopf noted, "We are all very excited. We knew when we bought him this fall that he was a special pony. We are so excited that he is on his way to qualify for Devon and indoors. Sara is also looking forward to pony finals."
SBS Farms will compete next at the Jacksonville Winter II Horse Show on January 14-18, 2009.
