Breyer® Animal Creations® to Launch Breyerwest™ at Western States Horse Expo!

(Pequannock, NJ – May 22, 2006) – Breyer® Animal Creations®, makers of the world’s finest model horses, has announced that it will bring the magic of model horses to the Western States Horse Expo when it launches BreyerWest™, a three-day model horse collectors’ event to be held June 9-11, 2006 at Cal Expo in Sacramento, Calif.
For more than 50 years, Breyer has been in the forefront of creating contemporary, classic and cool collections of model horses that have instilled an enduring love of horses in generations of children! For films like 20th Century Fox’s upcoming film Flicka to the magical fantasy world of Breyer’s winged Wind Dancers, and model horses based on Scholastic’s new Breyer Stablemates®’ readers, Breyer has recreated many of the world’s most beautiful horses.
To be held in The Cove at Cal Expo in conjunction with Western States Horse Expo, the largest and most comprehensive horse expo in the United States, BreyerWest™ will feature a fun crafts and activities area where children can paint a Stablemates® model horse and try other horsey crafts, enjoy seminars on model horse collecting, customizing and showing model horses and explore displays of Breyer models. All of the above are open to the public to enjoy! There will also be a model horse show on Friday, June 9, a swap meet for model horses on Saturday, June 10 and Children’s Only model horse show on Sunday, June 11.
Breyer will offer for sale a new special run model, Dulce De Leche, a cantering Palomino Sport Horse, designed exclusively for 2006 Breyer tour events!
BreyerWest™ crafts and activities are open to all visitors to Western States Horse Expo. Nominal fees apply to some activities. Friday’s model horse show must be pre-entered. An entry form is available by visiting http://www.BreyerHorses.com. Saturday’s Swap Meet (authorized Breyer dealers are ineligible) must also be pre-entered. An entry form is available at http://www.BreyerHorses.com. Sunday’s Children’s Only Model Horse Show will be an O/F show only and children may enter the morning of the show. An instruction form is available at http://www.BreyerHorses.com. Ribbons and great prizes will be offered for both model horse shows.
