Chrisman Mill Launches new Old Friends “Artist Signature” Wine by Singer Eddie Money

JULY 2, 2009—The Chrisman Mill Winery, located in Lexington’s Hamburg Village, will introduce its latest bottle of Old Friends “Artist Signature” Wine at a special tasting festival and release party on Friday July 10.

The tasting will begin at 4:30 on Friday July 10, with the release party running from 7:00pm - 9:00pm at Chrisman Mill’s Lexington retail outlet located at 2300 Sir Barton Way at the Hamburg Shopping Plaza. Come and enjoy samples, appetizers, tastings, live music and much more. Take some time to shop the large selection of wine accessories and Kentucky Proud products.

This beautifully designed bottle of Vidal Blanc is the fourth in an ongoing celebrity series: The very special label was drawn and donated by pop singer Eddie Money to benefit Old Friends, the Thoroughbred Retirement Facility in Georgetown, KY. For each bottle sold (retail: $ 21.99) Old Friends, home to more than 50 rescued and retired racehorses, will receive $8 from the proceeds.

The Eddie Money wine bottles are a limited and numbered edition, only 1,000 bottles will be produced. It will be available at all Liquor Barn outlets (where tastings will be held at the Beaumont location on Saturday July 11 from 3:00pm -- 6:00pm), at the Chrisman Mill store, and via telephone (call (859) 264-9463, or email: chrismanmill@aol.com).

At the event Chrisman Mill will also be taking orders for an “Artist’s Proof” collector’s edition, which has been personally signed by the singer and will be exclusively packaged. Only 100 of these unique bottles will be made available ($49.99).
