Eventers Head to Hong Kong
Equestrian News Release
The United States Equestrian Federation (USEF) has named two riders who will travel to Hong Kong for the eventing test event at the Beas River Olympic Equestrian Venue in preparation for the 2008 Olympics. The test event will be held at the CCI** level August 11-13, 2007.
Buck Davidson, 30, from Ocala, FL, will ride Ann Glaus & Cassandra Segal’s seven year-old Irish Thoroughbred Ballynoecastle RM. This combination was second at the Jersey Fresh CCI** in June and were the winners of the Red Hills CIC** in March.
Olympic veteran, Kim Severson, 33, from Keene, VA will partner Tsunami, an eight year-old Thoroughbred mare owned by Plain Dealing Farm. Severson and Tsunami were tenth in the Jersey Fresh CCI*** this spring.
The venue for the Olympic Games in 2008 will be Shatin Racecourse.
