125th National Horse Show Announces Hunter and Equitation Divisions for 2008 at the Syracuse Invitational Sporthorse Tournament

Syracuse, NY - March 27, 2008 - The 125th National Horse Show is pleased to announce the divisions and prize money that will be offered this year at the Syracuse Invitational Sporthorse Tournament from October 29 to November 2, 2008.

They are:

ASPCA Maclay National Championship

$7,500 Small Junior Hunters: 10 entries

$7,500 Large Junior Hunters: 10 entries

$7,500 Amateur-Owner Hunters (18-35): 10 entries

$7,500 Amateur-Owner Hunters (Over 35): 10 entries

$7,500 Green Working Hunters: 15 entries

$7,500 Green Conformation Hunters: 15 entries

$7,500 Regular Conformation Hunters: 10 entries

$7,500 Regular Working Hunters: 10 entries

All Hunter entries are accepted using USEF National Horse of the Year points in their respective divisions earned between December 1, 2007 and August 31, 2008 (top 15 shows to count).

Because of the horse show's competition dates coinciding with additional events in the city of Syracuse, we suggest booking your hotel rooms IMMEDIATELY if you are considering attending the 2008 Tournament. A full list of hotels with available rooms will be updated regularly on the Syracuse Invitational Sporthorse Tournament Web site.

Look for the horse show prize list online and in the mail in early August 2008.
