Certified Horsemanship Association Named Educational Alliance Partner of AQHA

(February 2008) – The Certified Horsemanship Association (CHA) is proud to announce that it has been named an Educational Alliance Partner of the American Quarter Horse Association.
“As two of the most recognized organizations in their respective fields, both CHA and AQHA are committed to safety in the horse riding experience,” says Ward Stutz the AQHA Director of Education, Member Programs and Youth Activities. “Through this partnership, AQHA members have access to qualified and certified riding instructors who promote safety and education for the horse owner and rider.”
“So many of our CHA programs, individual instructors and facilities use American Quarter Horses as lesson mounts and as part of their trail strings,” says Christy Landwehr, chief executive officer for CHA. “This alliance will be such a benefit to partner with one another’s programs such as: AQHA Junior Master Horsemen’s program, Professional Horsemen, America’s Horse, Regional Experiences and now AQHA members and those just getting started in the horse industry will have access to the CHA online directory (http://www.CHAinstructors.com) to help guide them to that first horse experience near them.”
