JT Farm Continues Success at CN Winter Equestrian Festival

Invincible and Ellen Toon Take Second Place in $30,000 Amateur-Owner Hunter Invitational Classic

Wellington, FL - April 1, 2008 - JT Farm and head trainer Jimmy Toon of South Salem, NY, and Wellington, FL, had another successful week at the CN Winter Equestrian Festival. They brought home numerous ribbons at the competitive show.

One of the top finishes this past week came from Invincible and Ellen Toon. They placed second in the $30,000 Amateur-Owner Hunter Invitational Classic. Toon was one of the top 12 amateur-owner hunter riders to qualify for the class, and she did on two horses, Invincible and Attache. Attache finished sixth in the classic. Both horses also got top ribbons in the Amateur-Owner Over 35 Hunters this week.

Toon had a solid first round with Invincible and moved up after an even better second round. "He was a very good boy," Toon said, "actually, they both were. The jumps were very good on Attache in the second trip. The idea for the class is great, and it's nice to get such great prize money."

Katie Galbraith of Darien, CT, had a great week in the equitation classes. She rode Spock to second place in the USEF Medal and the USEF Show Jumping Talent Search classes. She was also fifth in the WIHS Equitation hunter phase. Spock, a talented 5-year-old owned by JT Farm, has only been showing in Florida for three weeks.

On her jumper Latino, Galbraith was fifth in the $1,500 Low Junior Jumper Time First Jump-off class. She and her hunter, The Boss, picked up top ribbons in the Large Junior 15 & Under Hunters.

The reserve championship in the Equitation 11 & Under division went to Brianne Link. She was first, second, and second in the division. She and her ponies Asgard Mercury and Foxcroft Veronsky also placed well in the Medium and Large portions of the Children's Pony Hunters.

Jimmy Toon piloted Triple X in the Green Conformation Hunters. They finished second, third, fourth, fourth, and fifth. On Tayfoon, Toon picked up two fourth places in the First Year Green Working Hunters.

Lyn Pederson and Quentin competed in the Adult Amateur 3'3" Hunters brought home fourth and fifth place ribbons.

JT Farm will compete next at the final week of the CN Winter Equestrian Festival on April 2-6.
