Prime Performance Nutrition helps Al Shahania Farm Finish First
Equestrian News Release
COSBY, Mo. – The Emir's Sword is the richest Arabian race in the world. This year, homebred Mared Al Sahra of Al Shahania Farm won the 2400 meter race in a new record time of 2:38.29. Stable jockey Adrie de Vries gave Mared Al Sahra the ride of his life and Mared responded in great fashion. Adrie asked, Mared gave, and under the fantastic guidance of trainer Georgina Ward this team won the most coveted trophy of any racing season, the HH The Emir's Sword.
Al Shahania Farm, founded and owned by HH Sheikh Mohammed Bin Khalifa Al Thani, is recognized as an international racing enterprise. Of course it is care, not fine stables, that makes a good horse and at Al Shahania one can see the results of perfection in horse husbandry. Central to that effort are manager Hannie Maasdijk and trainer Georgina Ward, along with Director Abdulrahman Al mansoor. From the bloom on the coats, to impeccable shoeing jobs, constantly evolving nutrition and healthcare, and thoughtful breaking and training, horse keeping does not get any better than this.
A partner in their success, Prime Performance Nutrition products are used in the Al Shahania program.
“This is the first year that Al Shahania Farm has used Maxum HA, and our results have never been better,” said Al Shahania manager Maasdijk
Maxum HA is a powerful combination of Glucosamines, Chondroitin sulfate, MSM, Hyluronic Acid and vitamin C. It is an all-in-one product to aid in mobility and joint support. PPN President Jeff Butler couldn’t be happier, “It means a lot to us as a company to help in the success of Al Shahania Farm and Mared Al Sahra.”
