The ReactorPanel Saddle Company Announces 2006 Customer Satisfaction Results

The ReactorPanel Saddle Company Announces 2006 Customer Satisfaction Results
100% Say Their Horses Have Improved Since Using a ReactorPanel Saddle

January 5, 2007 – Oakland, California. The RP Saddle Company today announced the results of Customer Satisfaction Surveys for 2006, with ratings of 100% satisfaction in several key categories, including Quality, Comfort for Horse, Comfort for Rider, and the RP Staff’s service and knowledge. Perhaps more importantly, 100% of survey-takers say their horse has improved since purchasing their RP Saddle. Distributed to RP Saddle owners, the survey provides the company with key data used to improve the use and effectiveness of the RP Saddle System.

Company president Carmi Weininger comments, “I drew on my corporate background to bring the mission of continuous quality improvement to the RP Saddle Company by creating the Customer Satisfaction Survey five years ago. Any negative comments tell us exactly what we need to do to improve and just make us work harder. As shown by this year’s data, our efforts to build the best saddles and the best company are paying off, and we’re thrilled to achieve such stellar ratings from our customers.”

Lisa Jordan, Director of Operations, adds, “I don’t know of any other company that asks such in-depth questions of its customers, and they certainly don’t publish the results. It’s a pleasure to work to build an organization that is based on a product of the highest quality, while providing an experience that is just as high quality for the customer”.

The typical RP customer has been riding more than 20 years (59%), rides 4-7 times/week (61%), and is an Amateur (53%). He or she probably rides dressage (33%) or trail/pleasure (25%), with Endurance (17%) a close third. The most common breeds wearing RP saddles are Arabian, Thoroughbred, or Warmblood, though most breeds, including gaited horses and Draft horses, are represented. A horse-savvy group, the majority, 93%, work with a trainer or instructor and 83% use equine body workers to ensure their horse is receiving optimal care. Survey results showed that 100% of this knowledgeable group would consider recommending ReactorPanel Saddles to others.

Survey takers were asked to rate a number of aspects of their purchase and use experience in one of five categories: Excellent, Good, Average, Poor or Unacceptable. The following areas received a 100% above-average rating, where all respondents reported either “Excellent” or “Good”:

RP Staff’s Knowledge 100% (92% Excellent, 8% Good)

Horse’s “Opinion” 100% (84% Excellent, 16% Good)

Saddle Quality 100% (83% Excellent, 17% Good)

Rider Comfort 100% (76% Excellent, 24% Good)

Packaging 100% (92% Excellent, 8% Good)

In other areas of the survey, respondents are asked about their overall satisfaction since purchasing the saddle. The 2006 results show that 70% report that their satisfaction has increased; 28% say they are just as satisfied after the purchase as on the day of their purchase decision, and only 2% say their satisfaction had decreased.

Finally, when asked if they would recommend the ReactorPanel Saddle System to others, 98% say “Yes”, 2% say “Maybe”, and 0% said “No”.

In a year of significant expansion marked by the launch of an e-commerce store online, their first national advertising campaign and the addition of dozens of ancillary products to their line, the survey results prove that The ReactorPanel Saddle Company is effectively managing their growth without sacrificing service or quality.

The ReactorPanel Panel Saddle Company offers riders a two-week free test ride on all saddles.
