RV Sales of Broward Sponsors $25,000 Grand Prix at Littlewood

Wellington, FL – January 15, 2007 – RV Sales of Broward and owner GiGi Stetler sponsored the $25,000 Sunday grand prix at Littlewood Farm on January 14, and Kent Farrington took home the prize money.

In addition to sponsoring the class, RV Sales of Broward’s owner GiGi Stetler had a delicious lunch catered in the grand prix tent by Equestrian Club at Tavern on the Green, complete with an open bar and a sumptuous array of food. One half of the tent was set for reserved seating, and the other half was open to everyone. Stetler also sponsored a rider’s tent on Sunday, which gave riders a place to find shade, drinks and snacks when they weren’t riding.

“I am extremely pleased with the outcome of the day and all the support from the equestrian community, it being the first show after the virus outbreak,” Stetler commented. “There were almost 30 entries, and I’m very proud of our riders for taking the first step and initiative in returning to the show ring.”

Riding Up Chiqui, Farrington sped around the jump-off course in just under 37 seconds. With almost 30 entries in the class, just four riders made it into the jump-off: Aimee Aron, Laura Kraut, Marilyn Little and Farrington. Notable entries included riders such as Kraut, Margie Engle and Robin Sweely.

“I think any sponsors we get for the sport are great,” explained Farrington. “I think the more people we get involved, and the more people we get to support it is always a good thing.”

RV Sales of Broward opened its doors in Ft. Lauderdale, FL, in 1986 and has a satellite location in West Palm Beach. As a horseperson and avid competitor, Stetler understands the need for a place to call home while traveling.
