Once And Again Wins Regular Working Hunter Championship At HITS II – Ocala Winter Festival

Ocala, FL- February 19, 2006- Once and Again, the striking blood bay mare owned by Meredith Lipke Bartolone, took home the championship in the Regular Working Hunter division this week at the HITS II Ocala Winter Festival.
Ridden by Jennifer Alfano, Once and Again gathered three blue ribbons to receive the tricolor championship ribbon. Alfano spoke fondly of the mare when she said, “She’s a great horse. She hasn’t done the Working since Washington [in October]. She doesn’t need to practice. You just walk in the ring, and she gives you her all.”
Kacey McCann of Palmyra, Pennsylvania rode to a third place in the Equitation 15-17 Over Fences. Riding Regalo, for owners Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Oare in the Small Junior Hunter 15 and Under division, McCann received a first, second and two thirds over fences. In the Large Junior Hunter 15 and Under division, McCann rode Carlyle for owner Susan Brunn to a first and third over fences.
SBS Farm riders will compete next week in the HITS III - Ocala Winter Masters.
