The Devon Horse Show and Country Fair

The Devon Horse Show and Country Fair The Devon Horse Show runs from Thursday, May 24th through Sunday, June 3rd.

Since 1896, the Devon Horse Show and Country Fair has grown from a one-day event to a ten-day horse and carriage show with a country fair atmosphere. While it draws competitors and spectators from around the world, the show continues to reflect the local traditions and lifestyles of the Philadelphia Main Line.

Over the years, jumping events have become the favorite of spectators and riders alike. And in fair weather or foul, the Thursday Grand Prix continually draws standing room only crowds. As a result, competition in these classes has become very intense. To have an entry accepted in the Hunter and jumper divisions, horses must go through a yearlong qualifying process.

The great popularity and success of the Devon Horse Show and Country Fair continues with its many time-honored traditions. For example, the show still includes classes such as Parent and Child, Family, and Hunt Teams for Horses and for Ponies.
