Fairfield County Hunt Club June Benefit Horse Show
 The Fairfield County Hunt Club June Benefit Horse Show will be held Tuesday through Saturday, June 26-30, 2007. Rated “AA” and regarded as one of the most prestigious shows in the country, now in its 83rd year, the show features a $10,000 Amateur-Owner/Junior Jumper Classic on Thursday, June 28, 2007 and a $25,000 Grand Prix on Saturday, June 30, 2007.
There's activities for everyone all week long - with Happy Hour from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday offering complimentary wine and cheese for exhibitors and Club members. New this year is the "Paddock Boutique" featuring a variety of merchants offering gourmet chocolates, speciality coffees, antiques, art, clothing and accessories.
One of the most unique exhibitor friendly features of the show is the Exhibitor Barbecue sponsored by The Callari Auto Group and complimentary to all exhibitors, owners, trainers, and attendants. The barbecue will be held on Thursday, June 28, 2007, at 5:30 p.m. and will feature two live bands, The Miller River Band and The Chaperones, and the MINI “Best in Show” class sponsored by MINI of Fairfield County.
The show benefits The EQUUS Foundation, Inc., (www.equusfoundation.org) whose mission is to award grants to charities that use the horse for the benefit of the general public, promote the health and welfare of the horses, and elevate the equestrian sport as a whole.
New to the schedule if events is a Fashion Show and Luncheon to benefit The EQUUS Foundation. The Fashion Show and Luncheon will be on Wednesday, June 27, 2007, from 11:30 a.m to 3:00 p.m., featuring Club members modeling fashions from Snappy Gator, The Winged Monkey and The Lollipop Guild.
The EQUUS Benefit Luncheon will be held on Saturday, June 30, 2007, from 11:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., in conjunction with the show’s premier show jumping event, the $25,000 Fairfield Grand Prix, the highest level of show jumping competition featuring Olympic level riders and horses.
