Cadillac Challenge of the Americas 2006
"The Cadillac Challenge of the Americas" is a one-of-a-kind international event that highlights the Olympic sport of Grand Prix Dressage using a musical format of Freestyles and Team Quadrilles. Teams competing in The Cadillac Challenge include Team Purina USA, Team Canada and Team International. Participating riders meet certain qualifications. They will have competed in the Olympics, The World Equestrian Games, The World Cup or have internationally represented or been listed by their country.
Because of the event's extremely worthwhile cause, its stunning musical format and its Grand Prix status, the Cadillac Challenge has grown tremendously over the past four years. Beginning as a luncheon/exhibition attracting the dressage community in 2002, The Cadillac Challenge now hosts an international team competition that attracts elite riders from around the world and a spectator base that includes enthusiasts from all equestrian disciplines as well as those outside the equestrian community.
Although highly competitive, The Cadillac Challenge is designed to entertain and to entice…not by overlooking the quality or intrinsic beauty of the Grand Prix, but through a more relaxed and captivating atmosphere. This is an event to be enjoyed by all.
