Sponsors Make 124th National Horse Show a Successful Endeavor for All Involved

Wellington, FL - November 15, 2007 - The 124th National Horse Show is known as the kick-off for the winter equestrian season in Wellington, but the success of the show wouldn't be possible without the generosity and support of its sponsors.

The show will be held at the Palm Beach Polo and Equestrian Club from Dec. 5-9, 2007, and features some of the top horses and riders in the country in the disciplines of hunters, jumpers and dressage.

Rolex has a long and storied history of supporting athletic endeavors. Since 1927, Rolex has been associated with the quest for excellence inherent in sport. Rolex has partnered with the USEF (formerly the AHSA) to help make equestrians' dreams come true since 1997. They have been the title sponsor of the National Show Jumping Championship at the National Horse Show for two years.

Equine Motorcoach is sponsoring the $125,000 Rolex/USEF National Show Jumping Championship. Equine Motorcoach(TM) continues the grand tradition of a family carriage-building business founded over 100 years ago on the Austrian/Hungarian border near Vienna.

The company is one of the world's leading designers and manufacturers of luxury motorcoaches for horse and people. They have combined their knowledge of the horse show industry with the most experienced craftsmen and technicians in the American RV marketplace.


The $80,000 Young Jumper Championships(R) International is sponsored by the International Jumper and Dressage Futurity and the Young Jumper Championships. The championships are designed to identify the most promising young show jumping prospects competing here in the United States. The program was developed in cooperation with the International Jumper Futurity and is open to IJF nominated horses as well as all other horses in certain age categories that have been recorded with the YJC.

Zada Enterprises LLC is the sponsor of Dressage at The National. Owned and operated by businessman and amateur rider Joseph Zada, the company frequently sponsors divisions at shows around the country, including the Winter Equestrian Festival.

The $20,000 Junior Jumper division will be sponsored by the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. The ASPCA was the first humane organization established in the Americas, and today has more than one million supporters throughout North America.

The "Shiny Sheet" is the proud sponsor of the $20,000 Palm Beach Daily News Amateur-Owner Jumper Section. The Palm Beach Daily News, affectionately known as "The Shiny Sheet," has been serving Palm Beach since 1897. It was acquired by Cox Enterprises in 1969, and today is headquartered at 265 Royal Poinciana Way in Palm Beach, FL. The majority of its coverage focuses on the towns of Palm Beach, South Palm Beach, and Manalapan. They include stories about local and regional government, society, fashion, business, and arts and entertainment.

The Palm Beach Post will sponsor the $5,000 National Welcome Stake. The paper began as The Palm Beach County, a weekly newspaper established in 1908. In 1916, it became a daily morning publication known as The Palm Beach Post. Today, The Palm Beach Post has almost one-half-million daily readers and ranks as one of the top 100 newspapers in the country, based on circulation.

Bainbridge Farm will sponsor the Adult Amateur Working Hunter division for a total of $11,000 in prize money. Bainbridge Farm is owned by Richard Schechter, who is the president and CEO of The Bainbridge Companies LLC.

The Bainbridge Companies LLC is a Florida-based fully integrated real estate company that has properties in Wellington, Florida. They are engaged in the development, construction, management, acquisition and disposition of commercial and residential real estate. Their apartment community development and acquisition programs are centered in specific markets in Florida, which boasts one of the most vibrant and diverse economies in the United States. These communities are located in high growth areas including the southeast, central, and northeast regions of the state, where significant opportunities exist for their type of multifamily community, either as rental multifamily or conversion to condominium ownership.

Pasmore Stables will sponsor the $11,000 Adult Amateur Jumper division. Pasmore Stables is owned by Jessie Pasmore, and her daughter, Catherine, is a top junior competitor.

Martha Jolicoeur P.A. Illustrated Properties is generously sponsoring the $11,000 Children's Jumper division. Martha Jolicoeur is known as one of the top listing agents within the equestrian market. An avid horse show competitor, Jolicoeur has a large network of equestrian clientele. Jolicoeur focuses on listing and selling properties in the Wellington, FL market, including condos and villas in the Palm Beach Polo Club and surrounding areas that start in the low 400's to large estates in the multi-million dollar range.

The $5,500 Regular Conformation Hunter division will be sponsored by Moxie Equestrian Inc. Moxie Equestrian is a clothing line created for the fashionably savvy rider that is trendy, stylish, and fun.

Tara Management will sponsor the $5,500 Amateur-Owner 18-35 Hunter division.¬ Tara Management is a construction company that specializes in equestrian facilities and is based in Wellington, FL. It is owned by Dennis Quinlan.

The $5,500 Green Conformation Hunter division is sponsored by Reflection Farms and Laura Mateo. Billie Steffie is sponsoring the 'All The Gold' Second Year Green Working Hunter division of $6,500.

Kilkenny Insurance Agency will sponsor the $5,500 Amateur-Owner Over 35 Working Hunter division. Kilkenny, owned by Laura and Michael Whitlow of Wellington, FL, is one of the top equine insurance agencies in the country. They provide equine insurance to horses and farms involved in the equestrian disciplines of hunters, jumpers, equitation and dressage.

Vanessa Symmons Redfern is sponsoring the $5,500 Regular Working Hunter division in honor of her late husband, William Barlow Redfern. Mr. Redfern was a well-known amateur equestrian.

The Side Saddle division of $6,500 is sponsored by the National Horse Show Ladies Committee, while the $5,500 Large Pony Division is sponsored by Suzy Marquard. Alyana Farms is the sponsor for the $5,500 Small Pony division.

The Palm Beach Equine Clinic is another sponsor. The clinic, based in Wellington, provides diagnostic, medical and surgical expertise for the performance horse.

Enterprise Rent-A-Car is the "Official Rental Car" of the NHS this year. Enterprise, having been built from the ground up, is the largest car rental company in North America. The company's mission is to fulfill the automotive and commercial truck rental, leasing, car sales and related needs of its customers.

The Hampton Inn is the "Official Hotel" of the National Horse Show. Owned by the Hilton chain, there are more than 1,300 locations throughout the United States, Canada, and Latin America.

Florida Coast Equipment is a full service agriculture, landscape, and compact construction equipment dealership with three locations in southern Florida - Boynton Beach, Stuart and Naples.

RV Sales of Broward is based in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. As a horseperson and avid competitor, owner GiGi Stetler understands the need for a place to call home while traveling. RV Sales of Broward is an official supplier of emergency housing to FEMA and operated the RV campground at Littlewood Farm in Wellington.

The Palm Beach Polo Equestrian Club is also the home of the Winter Equestrian Festival and the site of the first outdoor Nations Cup held in the United States. The competition areas include the 400' x 400' grass Internationale Arena, which is surrounded by bermed seating, chalets, and VIP areas; plus the Bertalan DeNemethy Arena and Grand Hunter Field, both with all weather footing. Amenities include the Diamond Horseshoe Club VIP area.


Approaching the show grounds from the Florida Turnpike, take Exit #93, Lake Worth Blvd., and travel west, crossing over 441. Travel five miles to South Shore Blvd., turn right on South Shore and proceed one mile to Pierson Road, then turn left at the light. Spectator Entrance is first left, on Equestrian Road. Approaching the show grounds from Interstate I-95, take Exit 49. Travel west on Forest Hill Blvd. 11 miles to South Shore Blvd. Turn left on South Shore and follow to Pierson Road. Turn right at the light on Pierson. Spectator Entrance is first left - Equestrian Road.

PARKING: Parking is free Wednesday through Sunday.

FOOD: A diverse menu of food and beverages is available at the vendor courtyard and at vendors around the Internationale Arena, and are open during show hours.

SHOPPING: The vendor courtyard and individual booths around the Internationale Arena offer equestrian equipment, apparel, jewelry, and home furnishings.
