AAEP Healthy Horses Workshop to Feature Olympic Medalist Gina Miles

Now in its ninth year, the next AAEP Healthy Horses Workshop will be held on Saturday, Dec. 6 in San Diego, Calif., and will offer seminars addressing health topics that are important to the horse owner. In addition to world-renowned veterinary experts, the Olympic silver medalist in individual eventing, Gina Miles, will be featured.

The workshop will take place from 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the Manchester Grand Hyatt Hotel in the Douglas Pavilion A and is being held in conjunction with the AAEP 54th Annual Convention. Registration will begin at 8:00 a.m. The pre-registration fee through Nov. 10 is $70; on-site registration will be $85. Lunch is included with the cost of registration.

Seating is limited and on-site registration will be offered based on space availability. The American Association of Equine Practitioners, headquartered in Lexington, Ky., was founded in 1954 as a non-profit organization dedicated to the health and welfare of the horse. Currently, the AAEP reaches more than 5 million horse owners through its nearly 10,000 members worldwide and is actively involved in ethics issues, practice management, research and continuing education in the equine veterinary profession and horse industry.
