Arabian Immortalized into a Stone Model Horse

Tyler, TX (October 2006) – The Peter Stone Company and the Certified Horsemanship Association (CHA) are proud to announce the winner of the annual CHA Stone School Horse of the Year award - "Domino’s Crescent Moon." The Domino model was presented to his owner Jessica Beohm from Eagle Creek Equestrian Center in Griffin, Georgia at the CHA International Conference just a few weeks ago in Fort Collins, Colorado.

Domino is a 20-year-old grey purebred Arabian gelding that has taught many students how to ride. His owner says that he is very tolerant of beginners bouncing around on him, pulling on his mouth, and kicking when they don’t mean to. As a rider’s ability increases, so does his energy level so this allows all levels of riders to have fun on him. He is very versatile doing jumping, dressage, western pleasure, speed events, halter, shows, parades, drill team demos, demonstrations at elementary schools and trail riding even down busy streets! A 13-year-old rider of his says, “You could be having the worst day of your life, but then you see him and all that changes. In his eyes you can see love, trust, faith and he just has an effect on you that makes you want to smile and have fun!”

To nominate a school horse, you must be a current member of CHA. Please submit a 500 -1,500 word essay explaining why this horse should be immortalized into a Stone Horse, along with two side photos and a front and back photo of the horse and two letters of support from instructors, students and/or parents. Send the information to CHA at 5318 Old Bullard Rd. Tyler, TX 75703 by August 2, 2007. Domino models are available through CHA at http://www.cha-ahse.org or by calling 800-399-0138.

CHA's purpose is to promote excellence in safety and education for the benefit of the horse industry. CHA certifies instructors and trail guides, accredits equestrian facilities and provides support and educational resources for all equestrians.
