Taylor Adams of Over the Hill Farm Wins Astonishing Twelve Tricolor Ribbons at Atlanta Summer Classic Horse Show Series

Conyers, GA – June 28, 2006 – Over the Hill Farm recently attended the Atlanta Summer Classic Horse Show series, held June 14-18 and 21-25, 2006, at the Georgia Horse Park. Taylor Adams of Eads, TN, rode to an amazing eight championships and four reserve championships over the two weeks on seven different ponies and horses.
The victories began in the first week when Adams rode All Heart to the Large Green Pony Hunter championship for owner Bill Schaub, who is the trainer and owner of Over the Hill Farm. She also piloted Strike it Blue, another Schaub entry, to the Medium Green Pony Hunter championship.
The winning continued when she won the tricolor on Laura King-Kaplan’s High Fashion in the Medium Pony Hunters and in the Large Pony Hunters on Lauren Hogan’s Time to Talk. Adams picked up the reserve championship in the Medium Pony Hunter division on Strike It Blue, and she won the Medium Pony Hunter Classic on True Blue, also owned by Schaub. Adams wrapped up the pony victories with a win in the Washington International Horse Show (WIHS) Pony Equitation on Time to Talk.
Adams also showed her prowess on horses when she rode Gold Edition for Ashley Kennedy and Peakewood Pharm of Marshall, VA, to the tricolor in the Large Junior 15 & Under Hunters. She was the reserve champion in the Small Junior 15 & Under Hunters on Mozaik, also owned by Kennedy.
In week one of Atlanta, Sophie Read of Lake Mary, FL, and Monaco won the Equitation 12-14 under saddle class and finished second in the over fences class. She also rode Monaco to the reserve championship in the Children’s 14 & Under Hunter division.
Parker Wright and Fancy Feet, owned by Bill Schaub, won the Small Pony Hunter model class and picked up numerous other top ribbons in the division.
Week two in Atlanta saw Adams return to the pony ring for more tricolor ribbons. She and True Blue were reserve champions in the Medium Pony Hunters and the Medium Green Pony Hunters. They also won the Pony Equitation Challenge Class, WIHS Pony Equitation, and Pony Equitation championship together. Adams and All Heart won the Large Pony Hunter Classic.
Adams got the ride on both Kennedy horses for a second week of competition and did not disappoint. She and Gold Edition were champions in the Large Junior 15 & Under hunters, and she swept the juniors by winning the championship in the Small Junior 15 & Under Hunter division on Mozaik. Mozaik and Adams also placed sixth in the $25,000 Hunter Classic.
Monaco and Sophie Read finished as reserve champions again in the younger Children’s Hunter division. They competed in the Children’s Hunter Classic, scored an 89, and finished in second place.
Wright and Fancy Feet repeated their win from the first week in the Small Pony Hunter model class.
Roberta Previ of Orlando, FL, rode her own Reveille to the reserve championship in the Amateur-Owner 36 & Over Hunters.
Also last week, while Over the Hill Farm was competing in Atlanta, other riders competed at the Roanoke Valley Horse Show. Ashley Kennedy and Larkspur finished as the Amateur-Owner Hunter champion. Ashley Foster and Another Beau were the Small Pony Hunter reserve champion.
Over the Hill Farm will compete next at the Biltmore Estate Summer Classic Horse Show series on July 12-23, 2006.
