Badabing in the Bluegrass at O’Neill’s to Benefit Old Friends

GEORGETOWN, KY— MARCH 25, 2009 —It’s an offer you can’t refuse.

Thursday April 2nd will be “Badabing in the Bluegrass Night” at O’Neill’s in Lexington, starring comedian and actor Frank Santorelli (The Sopranos). Proceeds from the event, presented by O’Neill’s Irish Pub and radio’s WLXX 92.9 The Bear, will benefit Old Friends, the Thoroughbred Retirement Facility in Georgetown, KY.

Santorelli, best known for playing Georgie, the bartender on the acclaimed HBO series The Sopranos, has also appeared on TV’s The Brotherhood, Las Vegas, Law & Order, and in the film No Reservations.

The evening begins at 7 pm at O’Neill’s (2051 Richmond Rd, Lexington) where Santorelli will polish up his barkeep skills by serving up specialty drinks. Guests will also be offered a chance to recreate his most celebrated Soprano’s moment—getting whacked by a telephone (plush phones included!). His stand-up performance begins at approximately 8pm.

The night will include other memorable “Mob” moments as well as the ultimate “Sopranos Trivial Challenge.” Test your knowledge and win prizes.

Morning DJ’s Jason Bailey and Deidra Ransdell will also be on hand along with other special guests.

Tickets are $30 for reserved bar-side tables (limited seating) and $15 for general admission. For tickets and additional information call Old Friends at 502-863-1775 or see their website at http://www.oldfriendsequine.org.
