Russian Balloon Artist Irina at the EQUUS Equestrian Idol Event on February 17

WELLINGTON, FL – January 31, 2007 – Russian Balloon Artist Irina Patterson (http://mylifeandart.typepad.com/) will be one of the many unique performers at the EQUUS Equestrian Idol Talent Show & Bash on February 17 at the Winter Equestrian Festival in Wellington. Tables of six and individual seats are still available for this special evening of feasting and equestrian revelry.

Irina, the “Russian Queen of Balloons”, a professionally trained entertainer and artist, hails from Russia where she honed her creativity under the influence of many great Russian artists. Irina’s performances are one of a kind. Irina excels in twisting whimsical animals, balloon caricatures of the people present at the party, party crowns and anything else the audience can think of.

Irina will perform her balloon caricatures while guests enjoy cocktails hosted by Skyy Spirits, a dinner buffet by Aaron’s Catering of Wellington, music by Tradewinds Music, and a silent auction. The event will be held during the Winter Equestrian Festival in the Special Events Pavilion at the Palm Beach Polo Equestrian Club in Wellington, Florida, from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm.

Robert “Ryan Seacrest” Dover will emcee the musical talent show featuring performers Taylor Blauweiss, Patricia Griffith, Leslie Howard, Frank Madden, Alexis Stein, and McLain Ward and judges, George Morris, Mason “Simon Cowell” Phelps Jr., Susie “Paula Abdul” Schoellkopf, and Gene “Randy Jackson” Mische.

In order to raise funds, The EQUUS Foundation is seeking individuals and businesses throughout the equestrian and Palm Beach communities to assist with their gracious generosity, either through cash donations, in-kind donations, auction donations and sponsorships. Donations are tax-deductible to the full extent of the law.
