World-Renowned Equine Photographer Barbara D. Livingston Releases of "More Old Friends"

Lexington, KY - September 7, 2007 - Five years ago, with the release of Old Friends, Barbara D. Livingston touched the hearts of thousands of horse lovers. Almost instantly the demands for a sequel began. As a result More Old Friends has finally come to fruition.
More Old Friends features stories of 100 elderly Thoroughbreds, who won our hearts long ago. Through Livingston’s photographs and words, they will capture hearts yet again. Some of the new old friends include the undefeated champion Personal Ensign; the two-time Olympic silver medalist Gem Twist; and the last filly to win the Kentucky Derby, Winning Colors.
Livingston has been photographing horses and horse racing for more than 35 years and is widely recognized as one of the sport’s top photographers. Her work has appeared in mainstream publications such as Newsweek, People, Sports Illustrated, ESPN The Magazine, GQ, and on the covers of TV Guide and Vanity Fair. Her photographs have also appeared on MTV, MSNBC, CBS Sunday Morning, ESPN, HBO and Entertainment Tonight.
Eclipse Press has published three previous books by Livingston: Four Seasons of Racing (1998); Old Friends (2002); and Barbara Livingston’s Saratoga: Images from the Heart (2005).
