We are proud to welcome Jean Cruguet (Triple Crown Winner, Seattle Slew, 1977) to our fund raiser and Celebration. He will be available to the public for autographs and photos on July 12th at the fundraiser and July 13th in the tent in the grove at Delaware Park, for more information on Jean Cruguet, please contact Sam Finelli at SAFMARKET@AOL.COM or by telephone 740-972-4546. New Jersey-based author Diana Tuorto will be selling and signing copies of her children's book, Janie's New Legs, which benefits Somerset Hills Handicapped Riding Center in New Jersey, during July 12th's fundraiser dinner. She will also be taking pre-orders for her latest novel, Luck of the Draw, which benefits ReRun, Inc., a non-profit that rescues and rehabilitates Thoroughbred ex-racehorses. Order forms for both books will be available on July 13th at Delaware Park. For more information on Tuorto or her novels, please visit http://cayuse.8k.com.

All proceeds benefit Thoroughbred Charities of America, ("TCA"), and it is hoped to surpass last year's 'Celebration of Barbaro' proceeds of over $20,000 for Thoroughbred rescue, laminitis research and research into catastrophic breakdowns, in the name of Barbaro. There will be a special tribute to Eight Belles with those proceeds going to the TCA's Eight Belles Memorial Fund.

"The impact Barbaro's triumph and ultimate passing had on his fan's lives cannot be underestimated." said Sharon Crumb the Founder of the 'Celebration of Barbaro'. She continued, "What we hope to achieve this second year, is to continue the work with track safety and Thoroughbred rescue".
