Wellington, FL – January 23, 2007 – With a turnout of about 100 people and numerous trays of fruity JELL-O shots, a good time was had by all at the celebrity bartending event to benefit Vinceremos Therapeutic Riding Center at Wellington Golf & Country Club.
Several “celebrity” equestrians, including Arlene “Tuny” Page and polo player Matias Magrini, showed off their drink mixing talents behind the bar. Vinceremos executive director Ruth Menor also joined the equestrians behind the bar to try her hand at shaking and stirring along with renowned polo photographer David Lominska.
Page is a top dressage rider and a co-chair for the Vinceremos annual benefit, and Magrini is a 9-goal player from Argentina who plays for New Bridge.
Guests enjoyed a complimentary hors d’oeuvres buffet throughout the evening. Among the guests were the “Voice of Polo” Tony Coppola, USPA Director of Umpires Dave Offen, Jennifer Poor, Shane Winkler and Rick Sears.
