By The Bay Local Rider Open Horse Show Series Now Available Online

Traverse City, MI - March 25, 2009 - Horse Sports by the Bay, Inc. and Northern Pines Farm are pleased to announce that the prize list for their newly created "By the Bay Local Rider Open Horse Show Series" is now available online to download.

The five show, local rider series will be held from April through July at Northern Pines Farm in Maple City and Flintfields Horse Park in Williamsburg. Each show will offer $50 stake classes plus a comprehensive schedule well-suited for the local Northwest Michigan hunter/hunt seat riders and the all-breed English/Western community. The fifth show will be featured during the annual Horse Shows by the Bay Equestrian Festival. It will serve as the finals where the series year-end awards will be presented.

Northern Pines Farm is owned by Glenn and Melissa Hirt. Their full-service training and horse boarding facility has an 80' x 200' indoor arena that will service as the main show arena for their April show and one of two arenas for their June show date.

Flintfields Horse Park, home to the annual Horse Shows by the Bay Equestrian Festival, is managed by Horse Sports by the Bay's Dean and Alex Rheinheimer. Flintfields boasts five full-sized competition venues complete with spectator seating and viewing pavilions. Both facilities are among the very best that the Northwest Michigan area has to offer and promise to provide a high-quality show setting and standards.
