Beacon Hill Dominates Equitation Ring at Littlewood Presidentís Day Jumper and Equitation Show

Springsteen Wins USEF Show Jumping Talent Search and WIHS Equitation

Wellington, FL Ė February 26, 2007 Ė Beacon Hill Show Stables celebrated numerous victories this past weekend at the Littlewood Presidentís Day Jumper and Equitation Show. Frank and Stacia Madden, the owners and head trainers at Beacon Hill Show Stables in Colts Neck, NJ, continue to coach their talented young riders to blue ribbon wins at the Winter Equestrian Festival and the Littlewood Horse Shows.

Over the weekend, Jessica Springsteen piloted Papillon 136 to first place honors in the Washington International Horse Show (WIHS) Hunter Phase and second place in the WIHS Jumper Phase. Her consistency led her to be the overall winner for the WIHS, and she returned to the arena and captured top honors in the USEF Show Jumping Talent Search. Springsteen, Laura King-Kaplan, and Jacqueline Lubrano also showed their hunters at the Winter Equestrian Festival and received ribbons in the Small Junior 15 and Under Hunters and the Large Junior 15 and Under Hunters.

Carolyn Curcio topped the leader board in the equitation ring with her horse Valvert. She came away with first place in the ASPCA Maclay Section A, second place in the Pessoa USEF Hunter Seat Medal, and sixth place in the USEF Show Jumping Talent Search. She also won fourth place in the WIHS Hunter Phase.

The blue ribbons kept coming in as Olivia Fass proved to be unbeatable after her beautiful ride on Orion in the Pessoa USEF Hunter Seat Medal, and Lubrano finished in the top spot aboard LB Carte Noir in the ASPCA Maclay Section B.

Beacon Hillís Chelsea Moss received third place in the ASPCA Maclay Section A, and she then finished fourth in the USEF Show Jumping Talent Search. Moss also won third in the overall standings of the WIHS after winning third in the Hunter Phase and eighth in the Jumper Phase aboard Logan. In addition, Karen Polle and King-Kaplan had successful rounds in the WIHS Equitation, with King-Kaplan finishing in seventh and Polle earning eighth in the WIHS Hunter Phase.

At the Winter Equestrian Festival, Fass led the victory gallop in the Florida Childrenís Pony Hunter Classic with Brighton Day Glo, and she won two seconds and an eighth place in the Childrenís Hunter Large Pony division.

Beacon Hill Show Stables will compete next week at the Zada Enterprises, LLC Wellington Masters CSI-W.
