Today we finished up a great week in Asheville. Some of the final updates for the week....
Saturday Night we packed the Grand Prix Pavillion and the spectators were six deep all around the the 400 x 400 ring. Hardin Towel aboard Artur28 owned by Janet Peterson and Millstream won the Juan Hernanxez Memorial Grand Prix. It was an exciting evening.
This was a World Championship Hunter Rider Event, some of the Champions today were:
AO Under - Saving Grance, Grace Stuntz
AO Older - Gershwin, Kim Quinn
Its great to see Gershwin and to see Sandra Brown and Lennox, the Reserve Champion in the AO's back at our shows.
Small Jr Younger - Alistette, Alise Oken
Small Jr Older - Calypso, Alex Andes
Large Jr Younger - Southern Style, Kiara Barnette
Large Jr Older - Been Swayed, Lindsay Maxwell
I do want to thank the Farm House for the wonderful hand painted cookie jars and plates for championship along with the wonderful Vera Bradley handbags. Both were big hits with the exhibitors.
We did sell out of the Summer Classic T-Shirts but don't fear, they are printing more and will be available at the Trophy Tent on Wednesday. We will also have some youth sizes.
Remember, all exhibitors are invited to the 17th Annual Unbridled Affair being held at the mansion on the estate, Biltmore House. The open bar, the food and the band will all start at 8pm. The theme is Derby Day Hats. It should be a blast.
We still have a few stalls , maybe four or five for week II. The office number is 828-225-6202.
