Biltmore Estate Summer Classic- Grand Kahuna

Today was a BIG day for the Ponies at the Biltmore Estate Summer Classic. Pony Mania ruled the day. The Supreme Kahuna Pony Classic was held today with about 70 ponies competing. Each winner won a custom Essex shirt, a gift certificate from the Farm House and will find themselves featured in an ad in the Chronicle of the horse.
The results are as follows:
Small Medium Green Supreme Kahuna - Showtime, Alise Oken
Large Green Supreme Kahuna - What a Bean, Emma Roberts
Small Pony Supreme Kahuna - Hi Lite, Lucille Oken
Medium Pony Supreme Kahuna - Topeka King, Paje Parker
Large Pony Supreme Kahuna - Show Boat, Shawn Casad
Most Supreme Grand Kahuna Pony Ride - Lucille Oken
Lucille is trained by Robert Hunt.
Pony Hunter Champions:
Small Medium Green Pony - Hllcrest Out of the Blue, David Dowler
Large Green Pony - What a Bean, Emma Roberts
Small Pony Hunter - Hi Lite, Lucille Oken
Medium Pony Hunter - Unexpected, M/M Jimmy Torano
Large Pony Hunter - Cedar Spring Pen Pal, Tyler, Greene
The "Mystery Man" classes were also held today. The Mystery Man classes started around 15 years ago at the Charleston Summer Classic. Its the best 7 out of 8. Each rider completes the course and then trots to the judge and tells them which fence should be eliminated. Best 7 out of 8.
