Wellington, FL – January 31, 2007 – Prashant "Peter" Ramani is the owner of the new BLAK HORSE Tack Shop in Wellington. His store will supply many silent auction items for the Sidelines Equestrian Triathlon on March 24, 2007, at the Winter Equestrian Festival. The Sidelines Equestrian Triathlon supports the Equestrian Aid Foundation (EAF), which is dedicated to helping all equestrians with illness or a catastrophic event in their time of need.
"I think that the Equestrian Aid Foundation is a very noble cause to be involved in," said Ramani. "I was raised to believe in helping people whenever I could. This is one way I can be involved with the equestrian community I love. It is the first time I’ve had an opportunity to serve people in the business that have unfortunate things happen to them."
Ramani donated a pair of JU-TEY Paddock boots and a pair of casual barn boots to the Celebrity Bartenders Party sponsored by Sidelines last month. His generous donations for the upcoming Sidelines Equestrian Triathlon include a VR Tack hunter/jumper Bridle with reins and a Figure 8 attachment, a pair of ladies JU-TEY full seat clarion dressage britches, a VR Tack Premium padded Dressage Bridle and a VR Tack Chukker "7" Polo Bridle Set including reins, a padded breast plate and polo martingale.
BLAK HORSE Tack Shop specializes in all tack and clothing for English Hunter, Jumper, Dressage, Polo, Thoroughbred Race Horses and all Western equipment. BLAK HORSE carries everything for the show, racing and back-yard horse in one shop. Ramani is the exclusive distributor in the USA for the India based JU-TEY Company. JU-TEY is a label that is very popular in Europe, especially in the United Kingdom.
BLAK HORSE has just opened on Fairlane Farms Road, next to Idlewild Furnishing, Inc., in Wellington. Prior to the opening, Ramani sold his tack products from his website, http://www.vrtack.com
, to great success. BLAK HORSE products are still available easily online.
VR Tack, (his entrepreneur father’s initials) is a family owned and run business specializing in a one-on-one relationship with the equine customer. "Every customer is a one–on-one business relationship [that] I intend to build in this community," Ramani emphatically added.
