Wellington, FL – January 4, 2007 – bluhammock Music is pleased to announce that it will host the “blu” Party on Sunday, February 18, 2007, at the Palm Beach Polo and Country Club in Wellington, FL.
The party, set to begin at 9 p.m., will kick off with a performance by a bluhammock artist, and the music will continue throughout the night until 1 a.m. with DJ Jean Marc from Biba and The Brazilian Court spinning the beats. With master party planner Bertrand de Soultrait in charge of the festivities, attendees are guaranteed a night they will never forget. Guests are encouraged to bedeck themselves in anything blue, and all partygoers can look forward to a night filled with dancing, food and fun – but most of all, good music! There will be a variety of cocktails and drink stations where guests can sample international flavors while enjoying crepes, finger foods and hors d’oeuvres.
bluhammock Music is an independent record label based in New York City distributed through Red, a Sony company. Founded by an avid equestrian, bluhammock artists produce music that accompanies a variety of outdoor lifestyles, such as equestrian sports and sailing. Currently, bluhammock has five signed artists whose mission is to produce honest, evocative music that appeals to a range of personalities and ages. The artists are Jim Boggia, Virginia Coalition, Kristoffer Ragnstam, Speech, and Swati.
In addition to the “blu” Party, bluhammock Music is the presenting sponsor for the Winter Equestrian Festival from February 7-11, 2007, as well as the sponsor of the $60,000 Palm Beach Equine Clinic/Adequan Wellington Cup CSI 3* on February 11th. The company sponsors a variety of outdoor lifestyle activities, such as the Palm Beach Equine Clinic and Adequan Gold Coast Jumper Classic Grand Prix at the Winter Equestrian Festival, Polo at Bridgehampton, Sundance Film Festival and the Nantucket Wine Festival.
