Hassler Dressage to Handle Lingh & Hexagon Louisville’s 2007 Breedings

Wellington, FL— Offield Farms is pleased to announce that Hassler Dressage will handle all 2007 breeding activities for two of their stallions—Two-Time Reserve World Cup Champion Lingh and the 2006 USDF Grand Prix Adult Amateur Horse of the Year, Hexagon’s Louisville. Hassler Dressage will oversee all details, from answering breeding inquiries and organization of contracts, to shipping of semen and the successful management of Lingh and Hexagon Louisville’s mares. Both stallions are available via frozen semen.

“I’m thrilled that Lingh has come under U.S. ownership,” Susanne Hassler explains. “It’s a huge step forward for our industry to have a stallion of Lingh’s caliber available to North American breeders.” Lingh and Hexagon’s Louisville become the first new stallions to join the Hassler Dressage team. Hassler continues, “I couldn’t imagine a more exciting starting point.”

Lingh’s successful career, excellent conformation and celebrated pedigree ensure his future as a breeding stallion. Currently ranked as the number one dressage stallion in the world by the World Breeding Federation of Sport Horses, he is a Dutch National Champion and the team silver medalist at the 2005 European Championships and at the 2006 World Championships. Lingh is a crowd favorite with his incredible gaits, elastic movement, tremendous front-end, and reliable temperament.

It’s no surprise that Lingh is a superstar. His sire, Flemmingh Preferent, is widely recognized as a sire of athletes. Lingh’s dam, Gazelle Ster Preferent, is a noteworthy daughter of Columbus. Lingh will be available to a very limited book of mares in 2007. Mare owners interested in breeding to Lingh should contact Susanne Hassler at stallions@hasslerdressage.com for complete information.

Hexagon’s Louisville is also a Dutch stallion of note. In 2006 he was awarded the USDF Amateur Grand Prix Horse of the Year as well as the winner of the All Breed’s Award (KWPN-NA) for the same level. He competed in the 2006 USEF National Grand Prix Freestyle Championships and League Finals and placed sixth in the Grand Prix. In Holland, he was a member of the National Dutch ‘B’ Grand Prix team alongside luminaries like Broere Jazz. Louisville is by Burggraaf and carries fabulous bloodlines not only for dressage, but also for jumping.

“I am confident that mare owners will enjoy the same professionalism I have experienced with Susanne,” Karin Reid Offield explains. “I could not be happier for Lingh and Louisville to be in the Hassler’s hands.”

Olympic Reserve horse Tiamo Trocadero, also owned by Offield Farms, will continue to stand at Hilltop Farm. Please visit http://www.hilltopfarminc.com for information about Tiamo. For complete information, full pedigrees and photos of all three stallions visit http://www.offieldfarms.com.
