Competitors Celebrate at Budweiser American Invitational Victory Celebration

Tampa, FL- April 11- After the exciting finish at the Budweiser American Invitational on April 2, riders, owners and friends were invited to a special party held at the West Side Club Lounge at the Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, FL.
While the grand prix proved to be difficult for some and only two riders made the jump-off, the party provided a relaxed and fun atmosphere for everyone, including the 2005 winner, Beezie Madden, who won the jump-off on Authentic, owned by Team Authentic, over Jeffery Welles and Armani, owned by Kimmel Yaeger Equine and Triton Ventures.
Red, white and blue balloons greeted Madden when she arrived at the party with husband John Madden and her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Patton. Tables overflowed with delectable buffet items, and a well-stocked bar kept many happy.
The highlight at the celebration was the wall of television screens that showed the grand prix. With slow motion replays, the crowd oohed and aahed with each round. As the night progressed, the DJ played tunes to keep the energy going at the party.
Invitational riders that attended included: Alison Firestone, Schuyler Riley, Ken Berkley, Paige Johnson, McLain Ward, Cayce Harrison, Lauren Hough, Markus Beerbaum, Jeffery Welles, Margie Engle, Michael Whitaker, Ellen Whitaker, Kent Farrington, Ramiro Quintana and Laura Kraut.
Other notable guests were: Stadium Jumping president Eugene Mische, Russ Walther, Mr. and Mrs. Hunter Harrison, Frank and Stacia Madden, Tim Boulton, Michael Morrissey, Dr. Sheila Johnson and Henri and Katie Prudent.
The party continued for hours, with many happy riders celebrating as they spent their last night in Tampa, Florida.
