Catherine Pasmore Prepares for Equitation Success with Frank Madden
Equestrian News Release
Wellington, FL – March 13, 2006 – For Catherine Pasmore of Wellington, Florida, choosing to train with Frank and Stacia Madden of Beacon Hill Show Stables in Colts Neck, New Jersey, was the first step to advancing her equitation career. Pasmore has shown in the jumper ring with her Children’s and Junior Jumpers and has won multiple ribbons in some of the Winter Equestrian Festival’s most competitive classes, but her interest in equitation truly sparked after watching the 2005 Maclay Finals.
When it comes to equitation, there is no question that Frank and Stacia Madden know how to prime riders for top of the line competition. Having some of the best junior riders in the country as students, the couple has led riders to victory at all of the major equitation finals. In 2005, their student Brianne Goutal won the ASPCA Maclay Medal Finals held in Syracuse, New York and the USEF/Pessoa Medal Finals in Harrisburg, NJ.
This past weekend, thirteen year old Pasmore purchased her very first equitation horse, an eleven year old Dutch gelding named Let’s Go. The horse, which was imported from Europe a year ago, was found by Frank Madden at Andre Dignelli’s farm. Pasmore will make her equitation debut at an upcoming show held at Littlewood Farm in Wellington, Florida.
“Go-go [Let’s Go] is the sweetest thing I’ve ever seen,” mentioned Jessie Pasmore, Catherine’s mother and the owner of Pasmore Stables LLC. “He is just super, and we really think he’s a lucky find. He has such a great personality.”
“This season has been a huge learning experience for Catherine,” commented Jessie Pasmore. “It took awhile for everyone to get into the groove, but it’s just been so easy and relaxed! All of the girls at Beacon Hill have been so nice to Catherine, and her riding is really improving. It’s a lot of fun working with Frank and Stacia. They’ve been great.”
Pasmore will show in Tampa, Florida, during the last two weeks of the Winter Equestrian Festival and travel to Europe with her mother to look for investment horses. Pasmore also shows in the Junior Jumper division with her palomino, Colour of Life, and her mare Ozina.
