Certified Horsemanship Association Welcomes New President

(October 2006) - Bo Winslow of Estes Park, Colorado was elected president of
the Certified Horsemanship Association (CHA) for the 2007 - 2009 term at the
association's annual conference held in Fort Collins, Colorado in September.

Winslow has been with Cheley Colorado Camps in Estes Park since 1985 as the
Horsemanship Director and the Site and Facility Manager. He has worked with
horses in many capacities including; breeding, training, taking dudes on
rides and barn management. Cheley Colorado Camps own 1,600 acres of pristine
mountain land bordering National Forest and the National Park. The camps
have five riding arenas and own 150 horses.

The riding program that Winslow runs at Cheley is one of the many programs
offered. Each camp unit has a string of 14 - 20 horses. Free-choice sign-ups
give campers the opportunity to go on half day, all day, and on overnight
rides or work with the colt training program. Campers learn all the
different aspects of horsemanship. The focus is on good horsemanship,
control, riding form, having fun and safety.

Due to that concern of safety within his own program, Winslow became active
on CHA's board of directors and a member of many working committees. He has
been involved with CHA since the mid 1980s. He is a CHA Trail Clinic
Instructor, which means that he certifies trail guides that attend CHA trail
certification clinics around the continent. Winslow lives with his wife,
Lauri, and his children, Justin and Nicole, is a captain at his local fire
department and is a deacon at his church. In his spare time, he enjoys
working in his wood shop.

The purpose of CHA is to promote excellence in safety and education for the
benefit of the horse industry. CHA certifies instructors and trail guides,
accredits equestrian facilities and provides support and educational
resources. For more information on the Certified Horsemanship Association,
