Clinton Anderson Joins All-Star Line Up at the 2006 Rocky Mountain Horse Expo

The Rocky Mountain Horse Expo returns for 2006, better than ever. From March 10-12, the National Western Complex in Denver, Colorado, will be the place for horse enthusiasts of every variety to attend clinics and educational programs, enjoy a tremendous entertainment line up, watch horses compete, shop at an extensive trade show—and even buy a horse.
Premiering this year will be the Legends of Ranching Performance Horse Sale, March 11, featuring two-year-old fillies and geldings started by the CSU Equine program, plus carefully selected trained using horses. Consignors represent the best in remuda bloodlines and training: Bartlett Ranch Wyoming, Burnett Ranches (6666), R.A. Brown Ranch, DLR Ranch, Gibs Performance Horses, Johnny T.L. Jones, Major Cattle Co., Frank Merrill, Pitchfork Ranch, Round Mountain Ranch, Royal Vista Equine, Shellbird Inc./Rising Hearts Ranch, T Cross Ranches, Tongue River Ranch, TSR Quarter Horses, Waggoner Ranch, Wagonhound Land & Livestock, and Valley Oak Ranch. Prior to the sale, a competition will be held to showcase the Legends of Ranching using horses to be auctioned.
The 2nd Annual Rocky Mountain Trail Riders Conference (held throughout the Expo) will bring professionals in areas of equestrian trail riding together with trail users, to share expertise, strengthen connections and build understanding in all aspects of trail riding, from “Building the Ultimate Trail Horse” to the politics of public land access.
The Priefert Texas Thunder Percheron hitch rumbles in for daily appearances. Private Treaty Sales, Breed Demos and Mare-Stallion Reviews will present great opportunities to get acquainted with a variety of horse breeds and uses. Educational seminars organized by CSU will bring the most current information on horse care, emergency preparedness, political issues, horse behavior, and many more topics.
Shop for your horses, your friends and yourself! Vendors from throughout the country will offer a huge array of horse-related shopping.
