Deeridge Farms Has Success in Seven Divisions at CN Winter Equestrian Festival

Wellington, FL - February 25, 2008 - Deeridge Farms, based in East Aurora, NY, and Wellington, FL, had another good week of showing at the CN Winter Equestrian Festival (WEF). They had riders place in eight different divisions at the show.

The most successful was Melissa Jacobs and Dakota, owned by Patricia McGrail-Peasley. They were reserve champions in the "B" section of the Children's 14 & Under Hunters. They were first, fourth, and fourth in the division. On her other mount Jouet, Jacobs received two seconds and a fifth in the "A" section of the same division.

Katie Jacobs-Robinson's So You Say placed in two divisions. With Jacobs-Robinson, the talented young gelding was third and sixth in the Amateur-Owner Over 35 Hunters. He received the same ribbons in the First Year Green Working Hunters with professional rider Louise Serio. On her horse Pienvottie, Jacobs-Robinson was second and third in the Adult Amateur 3'3" Hunters.

Kimberly Jacobs and her mount Oxbow picked up top ribbons in the Adult Amateur 36-50 Hunters. Phoebe Robinson and Red Dragon won a class and were fifth in the Children's 14 & Under Hunters. Grace Robinson and Redwood Forest received three fourth places and a fifth in the Children's Large Pony Hunters and they were eighth in the $1,500 Children's Pony Hunter Classic.

Joan Jacobs and her top jumper Go West were second in the $1,500 Adult Amateur 36-49 Jumper Time First Jump-off class.

Deeridge Farms will compete next at the seventh week of the CN Winter Equestrian Festival on Feb. 27-March 2.
