2008 Devon Horse Show Next Stop for PhelpsSports.com

Wellington, FL - May 15, 2008 - - The summer tour on PhelpsSports.com, the nation's leading equestrian news website, continues next week with complete reporting from the 2008 Devon Horse Show and Country Fair beginning on May 22, 2008.

The Devon Horse Show, the oldest and largest outdoor multi-breed horse competition in the United States, celebrates its 110th anniversary this year and features one of the most prestigious and popular show jumping events in the United States, the $100,000 Grand Prix of Devon.

This year's comprehensive Devon coverage will be anchored by Ken Kraus, Alden Corrigan, and the newest member of the PhelpsSports.com team, Lauren Fisher.

Also, the always popular, winning round videos from Productions East and the exceptional equestrian photos from Randi Muster Photography will enhance the PhelpsSports.com experience.

In addition to Devon, PhelpsSports.com will be in Lake Placid, NY, and will also provide special reports and photos from the shows at HITS Saugerties in New York, and at HITS Culpeper in Virginia.

PhelpsSports.com will also have a full team on hand for Horse Shows by the Bay in Michigan and for the American Gold Cup in Cleveland. Look for reports as well, from the Fidelity Jumper Classic at the new location in New Hampshire, the New Albany Classic, the Hampton Classic, and much, much more.

California coverage, led by Kathy Hobstetter and Paula Parisi, includes the events at Oaks Blenheim, Showpark, Del Mar and Los Angeles.

Speaking of California, Mary Hilton will offer thorough coverage from California for the Festival of Champions at The Oaks, hosting the USEF Olympic Dressage Trials. Terri Miller will provide her excellent photography.

In August, PhelpsSports.com once again joins forces with the 2008 Menlo Charity Horse Show as a Platinum Sponsor, the second year in a row for this exciting partnership.

We've got Colorado covered with our reporter/photographer Lincoln Rogers providing the details from the Colorado Summer Classic shows in Larkspur, and from the Colorado series and the 2008 North American Young Riders Championship at Parker, Colorado.

Internationally, PhelpsSports.com's coverage of the 2008 Samsung Super League continues throughout the summer and gears up next when the eight-event tour moves to Rome. This year's Super League tour will determine which American riders will eventually make up the United States roster at the Olympic Games in Hong Kong. Erin Cowgill's words are accompanied by her fabulous photography. Erin will also be filing reports from various events on the CN Worldwide Global Champions Tour.

Spruce Meadows in Calgary is also a regular, yearly stop for PhelpsSports.com.

The highly popular writer Bjorn Van Bunder will continue to provide his unique outlook, reporting from the heart of the horse world in Europe, and our own Violet Forbes will provide insights from this year's Developing Riders Tour.

As you might expect from PhelpsSports.com, our 2008 Olympic Games coverage will be complete, detailed and of course, timely. Look for the award winning reporting of Jennifer Wood, comprehensive reports from the world of Dressage's best writer, Mary Hilton, plus the unique perspectives of Jenny Ross, and great photos from Sue Stickle. PhelpsSports.com will cover every aspect of this year's Olympic Games in Hong Kong.

The fall tour as always, starts with the Capital Challenge, and includes Washington, The Syracuse Sporthorse Tournament and National Horse Show, Harrisburg, and winds up at the Royal in Toronto.

Also on the horizon, look for a brand new design for PhelpsSports.com.

With thousands of members based in 68 different countries around the globe, PhelpsSports.com has risen to the top of the charts of popularity among knowledgeable equestrians worldwide and has become the high performance home page for high performance equestrians worldwide.
