Freedom Health Sponsors USDF FEI Level Trainers’ Conference

Maker of SUCCEED(R) Digestive Conditioning Program(R) Agrees to Three-Year Title Sponsorship

Aurora, OH (December 18, 2006)--Freedom Health, LLC, maker of SUCCEED(R) Digestive Conditioning Program(R), has signed a three year sponsorship agreement with the United States Dressage Federation (USDF) to be the title sponsor of the annual FEI Level Trainers’ Conference. Top riders, trainers and USDF officials will be among the attendees of the SUCCEED/USDF FEI Level Trainers’ Conference in Loxahatchee, FL on January 14-15, 2007.

“Freedom Health’s message is that happy, healthy horses perform better,” said Linda Schultz, Director of Marketing for USDF. “Since the theme of this year’s conference with clinician Jan Brink is ‘Happy Athletes,’ this sponsorship seemed like a perfect fit.”

“Digestive health has a significant effect on performance, particularly for dressage,” said John Hall, President of Freedom Health. “The unavoidable challenges of the performance horse lifestyle can cause discomfort within the GI tract, leading to a decreased ability to achieve collection, extension and fluidity of movement as the horse tries to protect itself from that sensitivity.”

The FEI levels of Prix St. Georges, Intermediaire I and II and Grand Prix levels are the most difficult in the sport of dressage. Preparing a horse for competition at these levels requires years of intense training. Olympian and World Equestrian Games (WEG) competitor Steffen Peters and his wife Shannon are no strangers to the rigors of these competitive levels; Steffen was the highest scoring U.S. rider at WEG aboard Floriano--the USDF Horse of the Year at Grand Prix. Shannon and her mount Luxor had a banner year as well--they achieved their highest scores ever in Prix St. Georges and Intermediaire I; Luxor was named the USDF Horse of the Year at Intermediaire I. The Peters recognize that in addition to physical ability and training, digestive health can impact a horse’s performance. To help keep Floriano, Luxor and the rest of their horses healthy and happy, they feed SUCCEED daily as the key part of their overall digestive health management program.

SUCCEED is a scientifically formulated functional feed(TM)--a collection of nutrients that support the health and structure of the GI tract. Modern performance horse management practices--such as stalling, intermittent feeding, high grain diets, training, travel and competition--strain the equine digestive system, which evolved to fuel a relatively sedate grazing animal. Behavior, attitude, trainability, appearance and athletic ability are all affected by imbalances within this critical system.

By targeting gut health and promoting healthy digestive function with SUCCEED, owners and trainers can achieve the benefits of a natural digestive process, without changing the way they manage their horses. SUCCEED is safe and effective for all horses and, for the equine athlete, it is not a testable substance.
