Three Different Horse Shows
Burbank, California. As the post-hurricane crisis unfolds in Mississippi and Louisiana, Americans everywhere want to help. Langer Equestrian Group, Inc. decided to participate by making a donation to the American Red Cross on behalf of its three current and upcoming horse shows – Gold Coast 6 in Burbank, CA on September 1-4, Woodside Back-to-School Classic in Woodside, CA on September 2-5, and the High Prairie Fall Preview in Parker, CO on September 8-11.
“At each show,” explained CEO Larry Langer “we are donating $5.00 for every horse entered in the show. Many of our exhibitors are matching and even exceeding that donation.” Exhibitors can either add their donation to their horse show bill or they can write a check directly to the American Red Cross. All of the money will be donated directly to the American Red Cross.
“This is a horrific tragedy,” added Langer. “The horse community is well known for rallying and supporting important causes like this. We are fortunate to enjoy a wonderful life with our horses and the many people affected by this disaster need help.”
Exhibitors have already responded enthusiastically, and LEG hopes to donate more than $10,000 to the American Red Cross’ hurricane relief fund.
The facilities where LEG holds its horse shos, the Los Angeles Equestrian Center, the Colorado Horse Park, and the Horse Park at Woodside are all participating in the donation. In addition, the Los Angeles Horse Shows Association is also participating since Gold Coast 6 serves as a benefit show for the association.
