Equestrian Land Conservation Resource Website Wins National Award
Equestrian News Release
The Equestrian Land Conservation Resource (ELCR) has won an award from American Trails. The ELCR web site http://www.elcr.org has been named a “Winning Website” in the Trail Organization or Club division. ELCR was selected from amongst 70 nominated trail websites. Recipients were nominated by American Trails’ constituents.
“This award affirms the intent we had when we launched the now award-winning ELCR website in 2007.” according to Georgiana Hubbard McCabe, ELCR’s President. “Our website is loaded with information on conservation, trail access, and land stewardship for all equestrians.” according to McCabe.
ELCR’s website provides information and networking opportunities for equestrians across the county on maintaining access to trails on public and private lands as well as information on land conservation and stewardship for horse related activity.
“We are thrilled about this award and the usefulness of our website to trail riders nationwide,” said Deb Balliet, ELCR’s Chief Executive Officer.
