EquiSearch.com Launches Extensive Olympic Section

The 2008 Equestrian Olympic Games will kick off August 9 in Hong Kong, China, and EquiSearch.com has launched its extensive Olympic section online.

Veteran equestrian journalist Nancy Jaffer will be in Hong Kong for EquiSearch.com, covering her eighth Olympics with articles and photos from the dressage, three-day eventing, and show jumping competition.

Right now visitors to the Web site can read U.S. team rider bios, view photo galleries, study the TV and event schedules, review past Olympic results, test their Olympic trivia knowledge, and enter the Catch the Spirit Sweepstakes for a chance to win products signed by Olympians.

EquiSearch.com also has a diverse group of bloggers on board to bring readers a taste of the Olympics. U.S. eventing team member Karen O'Connor's head groom, Max Corcoran, shares an inside look at the "O'Connor Cavalry," while U.S. dressage superstar Debbie McDonald provides regular updates to the Web site. Brian O'Connor, the announcer of the equestrian events, is also blogging. Plus, journalist Fran Jurga goes behind the scenes and through the language barrier in "The World Rides in Hong Kong" blog to introduce visitors to equestrian and equine heroes from around the world.
