All Eyes are on the Equine.com Arena

Popular Web site sponsors events, clinics at annual New England horse expo

(WEST SPRINGFIELD, Mass.) October 26, 2006: Great things are planned for the Equine.com Arena at this fall’s Equine Affaire in West Springfield, Mass., November 9-12 at the Eastern States Exposition Center. Officials at Equine.com, the world’s largest horse marketplace, plan to make the West Springfield Equine Affaire one of the most important horse industry gatherings of the year.

To celebrate its Tenth Anniversary Year, Equine.com is Title Sponsor of the Equine.com Arena, where horse enthusiasts can attend a full schedule of in-depth clinics on a wide array of equestrian sports and training techniques. During the four-day event, horse experts including Jeff Cook, Charles Wilhelm, Stacy Westfall, Sharon Camarillo, Leslie Diamond, Denny Emerson and Craig Cameron will conduct clinics and demonstrations in the Equine.com Arena. These sessions will feature tips on the handling and training of many different breeds and disciplines.

Better known as the Eastern States Expo Coliseum, the Equine.com Arena also plays host to the show’s signature event, “Pfizer Fantasia: A Musical Celebration of the Horse.” A modest general admission charge includes entry to the trade show, all clinics, seminars and demonstrations. There is a separate charge for Pfizer Fantasia.

“The West Springfield Equine Affaire is the premier gathering for the modern American equine industry, and Equine.com is proud to be a major sponsor,” said Aaron Bromagem, president and founder of Equine.com. “We are delighted to be part of this wonderful tradition, and we look forward to visiting with horse lovers from all over New England at the Equine.com booth and in the Equine.com Arena.”

Equine.com sells a horse on-line (http://www.equine.com) every 22 minutes in the US. According to company records, the most popular breed of horse in Massachusetts is the Thoroughbred, as New England is home to about 7.4 percent of all Thoroughbreds for sale on Equine.com. Rounding out the five most popular horse breeds in New England are the American Quarter Horse, Appaloosa, Morgan and Arabian.

The Equine Affaire takes place at the Eastern States Exposition, West Springfield, Mass., Nov.9-12. For more details on Equine Affaire, visit http://www.EquineAffaire.com or call 740-845-0085.
