Extensive Coverage of the 2006 Fall Indoor Tour

Fair Hill International Begins October 19th Also on Website Agenda

Wellington, FL – October 11, 2006 – The all new equestrian news website, PhelpsSports.com, debuted to rave reviews during the World Equestrian Games in August, and continues to provide unprecedented coverage of events world wide. With the United States market now focused on the fall indoor tour, the in-depth reporting will continue at the Pennsylvania National Horse Show in Harrisburg beginning on Thursday, October 12, 2006.

Jennifer Wood will anchor the reporting, beginning with her insightful coverage of Junior Weekend, including two very important and prestigious national events, the USEF/Pessoa National Hunter Seat Medal Finals and the USEF Junior Jumper National Championships. Jennifer Kappler adds her unique inside perspective, offering a behind the scenes and up close and personal look at the competitors. Coverage will continue with the Rated Hunters, Amateur Hunters and Jumpers and the hotly contested Open Jumper division beginning on the following Monday. It all culminates with the Budweiser Grand Prix du Penn National, a World Cup Qualifier, on Saturday, October 22, 2006.

Also in October, PhelpsSports.com will be on hand for the 2006 Fair Hill International on October 19 through the 22nd. Each year, Fair Hill hosts the prestigious U.S. Equestrian Federation (USEF) Eventing CCI*** Championship, one of only two eventing competitions of such high caliber in the country. In addition, the 2006 Fair Hill Festival will also host Advanced and Intermediate level combined driving competition. Both the eventing Championship and the driving competition regularly draw some of the world's best horses, riders and drivers, including Olympic veterans and World Champions. Amber Heintzberger will be on the scene providing the daily coverage along with her award winning photographs.

L.A. Pomeroy will be reporting all of the details from the New England Equitation Championships (NEEC) to be held in West Springfield, Mass, also on Oct. 19-22. The NEEC is considered the most prestigious regional medal finals in the country. This is the 30th anniversary of the NEEC, making it the one of the oldest events of its kind in the country.

Jean Llewellyn, meanwhile, will be heading south of the border to Monterrey, Mexico from October 24–29 to cover show jumping’s Americas Young Horse Championship and CSI-W/CSI***, hosted as always at Alfonso Romo’s magnificent La Silla equestrian facility. Second only to the annual WBFSH finals that take place in Lanaken, this prestigious event has grown enormously in recent years and now attracts riders and horses from throughout Latin America, as well as the U.S. and Canada.

The month of October finishes up with PhelpsSports.com’s full court press at the Washington International Horse Show at the Verizon Center in Washington, D.C. beginning on October 23, 2006. Ken Kraus, Jenny Ross, Jennifer Wood, Jenny Kappler and Kendra Cecieta will be there to report on the Washington Equitation Finals, the President’s Cup, the Puissance, the World Cup for Hunters and much, much more.

In November, look for PhelpsSports.com at the Syracuse Invitational Sporthorse Tournament & ASPCA Maclay National Championships, the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair in Toronto, Canada, and the 123rd National Horse Show & Family Festival, featuring the Rolex/USEF National Show Jumping Championship CSI-W in Wellington, Florida.
