Wellington, FL - November 29, 2007 - Horses and riders will have to compete for attention this year at the 124th National Horse Show and Family Festival as vendors, the Children's Fair and a Taste of Wellington offer competitors and spectators a wide variety of attractions and activities.
The National Horse Show showcases top hunter, jumper, and dressage competitors at their highest levels and brings the Wellington community together to celebrate the occasion, which has been an equestrian tradition since 1883. The Family Festival will be held on Saturday, Dec. 8 and Sunday, Dec. 9, 2007.
Vendor Row will feature almost 60 vendors with goods that range from private jets to interior design items and shoes.
Beval Saddlery Ltd. will be in attendance in their semi-permanent location with everything necessary for horse showing, including attire, leather goods and more. Blue Star Jets, the country's largest private jet charter brokerage company, will be on-site to help anyone who needs to make travel arrangements.
CM Hadfields will also be on the grounds with tack and riding supplies, as will CWD Saddles and Devoucoux Saddlery. Der Dau custom made boots will be available for the most discerning shoppers, and shoppers can find veterinary supplies at Equine Tack & Nutritional. Farm Vet will also have a spot in Vendors Row.
For someone looking for something sparkly, with or without an equine theme, Equus Entries and Fox Run Ltd. will have all types of jewelry to fit any need.
More specialized products, such as an equine treadmill, will be available from Horse Gym USA. Hunt Ltd. and Zest of the West will be ready to outfit any shopper with the most fashionable trends, while buyers can decorate their homes with items from Idlewild Furnishings. If someone is in need of that special domain to decorate, Illustrated Properties will be available with real estate listings and home-shopping help. Clocks and pianos will be on display at The Piano & Clock Shop as well.
Riders can view the footage of their rides and purchase tapes from Productions East Video, which will capture all of the action throughout the week.

Another feature on this year's schedule for adults to enjoy is the Wellington Chamber of Commerce Business Showcase 2007. This event features more than 100 business vendors. Local businesses provide information on a broad range of subjects that pertain to their specific ventures.
A Taste of Wellington is another special treat for spectators. The event offers mouth-watering samples from some of the very best restaurants in the Wellington area and will be held in the Special Events Tent from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Spectators and exhibitors can take a glimpse at menus from some of the fabulous local gourmet restaurants while tasting delicious appetizers and cuisine.
