FLEECEWORKS 'GOES WEST': COMPANY EXPANDS INTO WESTERN GEAR FOR HORSE AND RIDER

San Diego, CA - Fleeceworks™ proudly announces the Fall 2005 launch of its new Western line, which will feature saddle pads, seat savers and accessories made with their outstanding Merino sheepskin and geared specifically to the wants and needs of the Western horse and rider.

The San Diego, California based company was founded in 2002 and has been hugely successful with its innovative line of pure Merino sheepskin products for the English equestrian. Design innovation, quality assurance and great customer service created a loyal following among retailers and consumers alike, and it wasn't long before Western riders voiced their demand for more products for the Western disciplines.

As with all Fleeceworks™ products, its Western line is the result of much research and field testing of both materials and designs. As horse people, the folks at Fleeceworks maintain that hard working equine partners (or pardners!) deserve to do their jobs in gear that provides them optimum comfort and freedom of movement. As such, one of the first of the new items the company will be offering is a therapeutic Western saddle pad using a combination of pure Merino wool and visco-elastic (memory) foam. The removable inserts offer strategic protection at specific pressure points, as well as addressing saddle fit issues. The pure Merino wool against the horse's back has unequalled capacities to wick away moisture and heat; important for the horse's comfort and well-being no matter what the discipline. Speaking of comfort, Western riders who find it necessary to "protect their assets"™ will be delighted with the selection of super cushy Merino sheepskin seat savers offered in a variety of styles and colors. Merino sheepskin cinch covers, cinch ring covers, noseband covers, removable halter tube kits and other accessories complete Fleeceworks initial Western product lineup. Products will be available at retail outlets nationally.
