Keith Dane Appointed to Position with The Humane Society of the United States

Friends of Sound Horses, Inc. (FOSH) is honored to announce that Keith Dane has been appointed to the position of Director of Equine Protection with The Humane Society of the United States (HSUS). Mr. Dane will be overseeing all equine issues, including the soring of Tennessee Walking Horses, for HSUS.
HSUS has worked since 1954 to promote the protection of all animals. With nearly ten million members and constituents, HSUS is the nation’s largest and most powerful animal protection organization, working in the United States and abroad to defend the interests of animals. Mr. Dane will continue as a valued member of FOSH’s Executive Advisory Committee. He has served as board member, President, and most recently Executive Director, and has been a key figure in the organization since FOSH’s inception over a decade ago.
