FOX Sports South, FOX Sports Carolinas and FOX Sports Tennessee to Televise Charlotte Grand Prix Equestrian Classic

Charlotte, NC - April 21, 2009 - FOX Sports South, FOX Sports Carolinas and FOX Sports Tennessee will televise the Charlotte Grand Prix Equestrian Classic on Thursday, April 23 at 4 p.m. ET. The Classic, which is being televised for the first time in its six-year history, will receive an additional airing on Saturday, April 25 at 8 p.m. ET.

Grand Prix jumper rider Mark Leone, who represented the United States in nine World Cup Finals, and Caroline Renfro provide insight and analysis from the field.

The Charlotte Grand Prix Equestrian Classic is a three-day Grand Prix competition featuring 8 classes of competition where riders compete for $585,000 in overall prize money. The fundraising event for the Bobcats Youth Foundation, held April 10-12 at the Time Warner Cable Arena, raises money to support the building of reading and technology centers and the Presbyterian Hospital Community Care Cruiser, a mobile health clinic providing needed healthcare to disadvantaged children.
