Freedom Health Sponsors Scholarship Contest for Arabian Youth Competitors

Aurora, OH (April 30, 2008)--Freedom Health is proud to expand the SUCCEED(R) Challenge Series this year to include a scholarship program for youth amateur members of the Arabian Horse Association (AHA). Five scholarships and additional prizes will be awarded at the 2008 Arabian and Half-Arabian Youth National Championship show July 26-August 2 in Albuquerque, NM.

The contest includes four disciplines in which qualified Arabian and Half-Arabian competitors between the ages of 14 and 17 may compete for $1,000 scholarships--English Pleasure, Country English Pleasure, Hunter Pleasure and Western Pleasure. An additional $1,000 scholarship will be awarded to the amateur owner under the age of 18 who submits the best essay on how SUCCEED(R) Digestive Conditioning Program(R) helped his or her horse. Each entry’s horse must receive SUCCEED Digestive Conditioning Program during the Challenge to be eligible.

The first place winners in each performance division will be determined by AHA’s existing point system, with each entry submitting points earned at their top three AHA sanctioned horse shows. The essay contest winner will be determined by a panel of judges from Freedom Health and Ablackhorse.com.

In addition to the scholarship, first place prizes include a 90-day supply of SUCCEED Digestive Conditioning Program, $100 donated by Ablackhorse.com, a hat box carrier donated by The Hat Lady, an Oster(R) grooming bag donated by Fowlerville Feed and a leather halter and lead with nameplate donated by C. Jarvis Insurance. Second place finishers will receive a 90-day supply of SUCCEED Digestive Conditioning Program. Additionally, six $50 Schneiders gift certificates will be awarded in a random drawing including all participants.

“Our youth competitors represent the future of this industry,” said Patrick Warczak, Vice President - Marketing at Freedom Health. “Working with youth goes hand-in-hand with our goal of education to help horse owners make informed decisions about their horses’ feeding program. By highlighting the difference that SUCCEED Digestive Conditioning Program can make for horses through this contest, we hope to teach these young riders about the importance of digestive health for overall performance.”

While many horse owners may only be aware of digestive health when serious health problems arise, this critical issue can affect every aspect of a horse’s attitude, appearance and performance. Performance horses are particularly at risk for digestive imbalances with high-stress event environments, high energy needs and large meals with high carbohydrate concentrations--all of which run counter to the horse’s natural environment and diet. As a Functional Feed(TM), SUCCEED Digestive Conditioning Program contains specialized nutrients that support the GI tract structure and function. Owners using SUCCEED Digestive Conditioning Program have reported wide-ranging affects in their horses--from an improved appetite and stamina to better trainability and the achievement of optimal performance ability.

Junior owners interested in participating in the SUCCEED Challenge Series must register with SUCCEED retailer Ablackhorse.com and are responsible for submitting show results and points accumulated. Visit http://www.ablackhorse.com for full rules and eligibility requirements.

SUCCEED Digestive Conditioning Program and the SUCCEED(R) Equine Fecal Blood Test(TM) are produced and distributed exclusively by Freedom Health, LLC of Aurora, Ohio. This company is focused on finding, perfecting and delivering superior, innovative products that address real and significant health-related issues for animals and the people who care for them.
