FOSH Announces Change to its North American Championships

Friends of Sound Horses (FOSH) has announced that it is changing the name of its North American Pleasure Walking Horse Championships to better reflect the diversity of the various gaited horse breeds that compete in its shows. Some of the other breeds represented have included Rocky Mountain Horses, Missouri Fox Trotters, Peruvian Pasos, Spotted Saddle Horses and others.
Beginning in 2006, the new name will be the North American Pleasure Gaited Horse Championships. The 2006 Championships will be held September 21st – 24th, 2006 at the Virginia Horse Center in Lexington, Virginia.
